What you'll do

• Maintain and operate the coal fired generating facility.
• Conduct preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of all mechanical and electrical plant and equipment.
• Undertake diagnostics and corrective actions.
• Assist in plant start-up and shut-down
• Use computerised maintenance management systems to plan and coordinate work.

What you'll need

• For the Electrical role, a Certificate III in Electrical (Electrician).
• For the dual trade role (Electrical/Instrument & Controls) role; a Certificate III in Electrical (Electrician) and Instrumentation & Controls.
• Ability to understand technical information, drawings and engineering data.
• Demonstrated high standards of competency and workmanship with a flexible working manner.
• Relevant experience within the power generation or heavy industry field.
• Excellent communication skills.
